The Nursing Coverage clause defines the obligations and arrangements regarding the provision of nursing staff or services within a particular setting, such as a healthcare facility or during a specific event. It typically outlines the required qualifications, hours of coverage, and the responsibilities of the party providing nursing personnel, ensuring that adequate care is maintained at all times. Nursing Coverage. Nurses agree to maintain nursing coverage for all units during the shift change subject to the overtime provisions of Article 7.07 (overtime).

The Employer will ensure the Nurse has appropriate supports to mitigate the impact of working beyond sixteen (16) hours, including but not limited to modifying the Nurses’ assignment and providing additional rest periods. Where a Nurse has been required to work beyond sixteen (16) hours, the Nurse will complete a Clinical Capacity report.

  • Life Coverage Paragraph 1: The Board shall provide a group term life coverage in the sum of $30,000 for all teachers employed half time or more. Any increases in coverage shall not be effective until the teacher reports or is able to report for work.

The Executive shall be notified in writing of the Executive’s rights to continue such coverage after the termination of the Executive’s employment pursuant to this Section 3(d)(iv), provided that the Executive timely complies with the conditions to continue such coverage. The Executive understands and acknowledges that the Executive is responsible to make all payments required for any such continued health care coverage that the Executive may choose to receive.
