Open Site Sample Clauses

The "Open Site" clause defines the contractor's right to access and use the project site for the purposes of performing their work. Typically, this clause outlines when and how the contractor may enter the site, any restrictions on access, and the responsibilities for maintaining site security and safety. For example, it may specify that the site must be made available to the contractor at certain times or in certain conditions, and clarify who is responsible for site preparation or utilities. The core function of this clause is to ensure that the contractor can carry out their obligations without undue delay or obstruction, thereby facilitating smooth project progress and minimizing disputes over site access.
