Operation of Buses. The use of part-time operators shall not violate the provisions of Part I, 6.18.
Operation of Buses. Only an operator shall operate a public transit vehicle carrying passengers, except in cases of emergency.
Operation of Buses. 20.3.1 The Operator shall at all times procure that, save and except any damage caused by theft, arson or vandalism: (a) there are adequate lighting arrangements inside the Buses, in conformity with the Specifications and Standards; (b) the temperature inside the Buses can be maintained in accordance with Maintenance Requirements; (c) the Buses are clean, hygienic and free of odour; (d) seats, windows, doors and all fixtures in the Buses are operational; and (e) all bus information systems and lighting systems function efficiently, and their availability is no less than [98% (ninety-eight per cent)] in a month.
Operation of Buses. 13.1.1 The Operator shall Operate Buses under the provisions of this Contract; 13.1.2 The Operator shall observe the minimum O&M Standards for operations of Buses as per Schedule XIV of the Contract; 13.1.3 In addition to the Applicable Permits, the Operator shall ensure that it procures and maintains a valid Certificate of Fitness and pollution control certificate from the relevant authorities for all the Buses throughout the Contract Period in accordance with Applicable Law; 13.1.4 In the event the Operator fails to ensure the security of the Buses and there is any theft or damage to any Bus component/spare parts/ hardware/ software/ instruments, then the Operator shall reinstall/ replace such Bus component/ spare parts/ hardware/ software/ instrument(s) of the same or equivalent quality and specification, after giving prior written notice to the Authority; 13.1.5 The Operator shall provide additional Drivers, Conductors for operating additional Buses and payment shall be in accordance with provisions of Article 21. The maximum number of additional Buses which may be made operational under this sub-clause 13.1.5, shall be capped at 20% (twenty percent) of the total Buses contracted as on Execution Date in any one year and 50% (fifty percent) of the total Buses contracted on Execution Date over the entire Contract Period subject to capacity available and space provided by the Authority; 13.1.6 The Operator shall ensure that the Buses being operated are without infractions, staffed with Driver and Conductor, and equipped with fully functional mounted devices as specified in this Contract.

The maximum number of additional Buses which may be made operational under this sub-clause 13.1.5 shall be capped at [20%] of the Buses within one year of Execution Date and [50%] over the Contract Period subject to depots/parking capacity provided by the authority being made available; 13.1.6 The Operator shall ensure that the Buses being operated are without infractions, staffed with Driver, and equipped with fully functional mounted devices as specified in this Contract.
Operation of Buses. All operating conditions of any of the ▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇ School Buses rests with the Employer. The Employer delegates to various people, including the bus driver, the responsibility for operation of the transportation program.

Operation of Buses. A. No employee, while holding any official position with the District or a supervisory position or shop unit member, shall be permitted to operate or drive a school bus in the transportation of school children, charter or special work, except in the event of an emergency or breakdown. B. No driver shall be required to operate equipment that will jeopardize his or her driver’s license or be injurious to health. C. District employees shall perform all transportation requirements of the District in addition to normal schedules, except as may be otherwise provided by contract transportation; however, the total number of buses operated by the District shall not be less than 50. The District will meet with the union prior to the pick to ensure the District’s effort to retain as many 4:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. runs as possible before sending work to outside contractors. The District agrees to use the within unit for all summer busing, authorized by the District for District programs, which are within the District’s control, excluding those runs requiring matrons or attendants. The District shall not be required to submit bids or seek other extra busing. D. All rules and regulations governing the operation or maintenance of the equipment shall be mutually agreed upon before posting.

To require any driver driving on behalf of CONTRACTOR to participate in such safety training and continuing education as may be directed or required by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools or any state or federal agency. b. To complete, certify, and submit mileage affidavits five (5) days following the first full day of the new school year. c. To complete, certify, and submit all forms requested or required by the Board’s Transportation Department including, but not limited to, updated route sheets, pupil load reports, and bus stop changes four weeks after the first full day of the new school year. d. To provide maintenance records requested by the Board’s Transportation Department within twenty-four (24) hours after receiving written notice. e. To require any driver driving on behalf of the CONTRACTOR to be familiar with and abide by all policies, procedures, rules, regulations and other requirements affecting student transportation including, but not limited to, those set forth in the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Schools Handbook and the Board Policy Manual, which the Board and/or f. To report all injuries, accidents, and occurrences to the Board and its insurance carrier within the time limits specific by the carrier and the Board’s Transportation Department and to cooperate fully in the Board’s and/or carrier’s investigation of all accidents and occurrences. i. Accidents will be classified as preventable or non-preventable by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County’s insurance carrier or insurance department. If CONTRACTOR is responsible for two (2) or more preventable accidents within a three (3) year period, the Board reserves the right to prohibit the responsible bus driver from operating a bus and the Board may, within the Board’s discretion, terminate this Contract with the CONTRACTOR. In the event a CONTRACTOR is involved in an accident, the Board’s Transportation Director shall advise the CONTRACTOR as to whether the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County’s insurance carrier classifies said accident as preventable or non-preventable. ii. Anytime a student is injured while on the bus or at a bus stop and a CONTRACTOR’s bus driver is aware of the incident, the CONTRACTOR is responsible to file a report with the transportation department for the Board immediately. g. To refrain from display on any bus advertising signage, personal statements, religious symbols or statements, or political signage or statements. h.
