Other Extended Leave. The Superintendent may authorize, subject to the approval of the Board, an extended leave for any other purpose not expressly identified above.
Other Extended Leave. 1. A leave of absence, without pay, not included in other Divisions of this Section may be granted by the Superintendent under extenuating circumstances. 2. The teacher shall notify the Superintendent of the ability to return to employment at least two (2) weeks before the teacher is to return to employment. If mutual agreement on a return date cannot be reached, the Superintendent's Office may defer the date of return to the beginning of the next marking period. 3. A teacher returning from leave of absence will be placed on the salary schedule pursuant to the individual's approved credited experience. Article X
Other Extended Leave. WITHOUT PAY Employees must be employed a minimum of 3 years to be eligible for this option. Extended leave is defined as leave of 1 month or more, not already covered by this agreement. Approval is subject to the superintendent.
Other Extended Leave. Extended leaves of absence, without pay, may be granted by the Committee. Such decisions of the Committee are non-grievable and non-arbitrable. Benefits in effect at the time leave commenced, exclusive of accumulated computation during the leave period, will be restored upon return and his/her assignment to the same or equivalent position will be restored if said position is not affected by economic conditions or other changes in operating conditions affecting employment during the period of leave. When a leave is unpaid, the ESP may continue health coverage, but must pay 100% of the premium.

  • Extended Leave Extended leaves of absence of at least three (3) but not more than five (5) years may be granted in accordance with Minnesota law.   • Other Leave Granting of leave is a matter between the employees and the mill management. The Company will consider length of service and will endeavour to arrange leave of absence to suit the employee's wishes. Employees with ten or more years service will be given special consideration.

  • Extended Personal Leave Leave without pay for up to one (1) year may be granted to a teacher provided said teacher has been actively employed for five (5) continuous contract years preceding the granting of this leave and has not been granted an extended part-time leave within that period. Application for said leave shall include a statement indicating the purpose of the leave and shall be submitted, except in unusual circumstances, as determined by the District, thirty (30) days prior to the date the leave is to commence.
