Common use of Outside the Bargaining Unit Clause in Contracts

Outside the Bargaining Unit. No employee shall be transferred to a position outside the bargaining unit without their consent. An employee transferred out of the unit shall retain their seniority for up to sixty (60) shifts. If the employee returns to the bargaining unit within the sixty (60) shifts, they shall move back into the position they held prior to leaving the unit. Other employees affected shall also bump back into their original positions.
