Overpayment or Underpayment. Where the Employer determines an employee has been overpaid, the Employer has the right to recover the overpayment via deductions from the employee’s pay. The Employer will consult with the employee prior to determining the schedule of deductions. The Employer will endeavour to implement a schedule which avoids creating undue hardship for the employee. Where the Employer has underpaid an employee due to the Employer’s error, the Employer will correct the pay error within three (3) business days after determining the error has occurred.
