Overtime and Call Back. 6.1 Overtime shall be defined as any hours or portion of hours worked beyond an employee's normally scheduled work hours. 6.2 Overtime shall be compensated at one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee's hourly rate as defined in Article 9. 6.3 Overtime shall be computed to the nearest half hour (1-30 minutes= 1/2 hour of overtime, 31-60 minutes= 1 hour of overtime). 6.4 In the event overtime is not the extension of or the beginning of an employee's shift, or is not for a task assignment, a minimum of two (2) hours of overtime shall be paid to the employee when the employee is requested or required to return to duty or involved in activities as defined in section 6.5. After the two (2) hours, overtime shall be paid in increments as defined in section 6.3 by the employer. 6.5 An employee shall be entitled to overtime pay when off shift and required to attend a meeting or training.
