Overtime Barrier. An employee whose substantive annual salary is $1.00 a year or more above the maximum salary for a Level 7 employee will not be entitled to the payment of overtime or the granting of time off in lieu of overtime payments. Provided that the University may approve the payment of overtime or the granting of time off in lieu either in accordance with this agreement or compensation on another basis, whether by granting leave or payment as the University may determine.
