Common use of Overtime Compensation Clause in Contracts

Overtime Compensation. (a) Overtime worked shall be compensated at the following rates: (1) time and one-half for the first two hours of overtime on a regularly scheduled workday; (2) double-time for hours worked in excess of the two hours referred to in (1) above; and (3) double-time for all hours worked on a day of rest. The compensation of overtime in (1) and (2) is to be on a daily basis and not cumulative. (b) An employee who works on a designated holiday which is not a scheduled workday shall be considered to have worked overtime and shall receive their regular days pay, and shall receive additional compensation at the rate of double-time for all hours worked; except for Christmas and New Years when the additional compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for all hours worked. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on business outside their regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority may determine the means of such travel. (1) Overtime shall be compensated either in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) If the employee elects to take compensatory time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requested.

(1d) Overtime The employee shall be have the option of being compensated either in cash for overtime as pay or as compensatory time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2e) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) If Where the employee elects to take compensatory time offopts for payment in cash, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requestedworked. (f) An employee shall not have more than seventy (70) hours of compensatory time banked at any one time. When an employee opts for compensatory time off, such time off shall be taken at a time mutually agreed to between the Employer and the employee. Such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Employer. Any compensatory time off remaining at the end of the calendar year shall be paid in cash. However, for compensatory time earned in November or December, it may be mutually agreed to schedule such time off within the first (1st) three (3) months of the following year. (g) Once annually, an employee who has thirty-five (35) hours of compensatory time banked as of December 1, may set aside up to thirty-five (35) hours to be taken as though it were part of their annual vacation for the following year by requesting such in writing prior to December 15.

Overtime Compensation. The Authority College may determine the means of such travel. (1d) Employees shall have the option of receiving payment for overtime compensation or the equivalent compensating time off in lieu of being paid, to a limit of fifty (50) hours. (e) If employees elect to take compensating time off for overtime compensation, they shall be entitled within sixty (60) days to schedule such earned time off. (f) At year end, or at termination of employment, any overtime banked during that calendar year shall automatically be paid out either on the second pay of the new year or on the employee's final paycheque, whichever applies. (g) Overtime shall be compensated either calculated in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's optionthirty (30) minute increments. (1d) Overtime compensation shall be compensated either monetary or in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) . If the employee elects to take compensatory chooses time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off shall be scheduled by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. Employees shall within 60 days from it being earnedthe end of the month in which they worked overtime, schedule such time off. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5e) Where overtime earned is paid in cash cash, the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month next pay period immediately following the month in which the employee opts for cash payment. (1) Any overtime cash still owing at the end of the calendar year may be taken as compensatory time off at a mutually agreeable time prior to the end of the fiscal year. Should this become impossible, all outstanding overtime shall be compensated by monetary payment was requestedat the end of the fiscal year, or upon termination, whichever occurs earlier. (2) Notwithstanding (f)(1) above, an employee who has opted for compensatory time off (CTO) for overtime worked in one calendar year may, by mutual agreement, schedule the CTO to be taken by April 30th, of the following calendar year, and the employee may not subsequently opt for monetary payout for the overtime.

(1) Overtime Employees shall be have the option of being compensated either for overtime in cash or compensatory time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) If the employee elects to take compensatory time off, they shall so advise the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule Employer before the end of the pay period and such time off shall be scheduled by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (43) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within reached, the employee may elect, at any time after the 60 days from it being earneddays, to receive cash payment for such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall applyoff. (54) Where overtime earned is paid in cash cash, the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month next pay period immediately following the month in which the overtime employee opts for cash payment was requestedpursuant to Clause 17.6(c)(1) or (3) above, as the case may be. Any compensatory time off unscheduled at the fiscal year end or on termination, whichever first occurs, shall be paid in cash at that time.

However, for compensatory time earned in November or December, it may be mutually agreed to schedule such time off within the first three months of the following year. (g) Once annually, an employee who has 35 hours of compensatory time banked as of December 1st, may set aside up to 35 hours to be taken as though it were part of their annual vacation for the following year by requesting such in writing prior to December 15th.

The options shall be: (1) one hundred percent (100%) cash; or (2) Accumulated overtime one hundred percent (100%) time off; The Employer shall be paid in cash provide an appropriate form for this purpose. Employees shall have six (6) opportunities per year upon two (2) weeks notice to elect to convert accumulated time off credits to cash. The pay out will have tax withheld at a rate equal to the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon terminationemployees normal tax rate. (3e) If the employee elects to take compensatory time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on The Employer agrees that the scheduling of compensatory time off canshall not be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off unreasonably withheld. The banked CTO shall be taken in cash not exceed two hundred and fifty (250) hours or the provision of (5) below shall applyEmployer may schedule or pay out the surplus time. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requested.

Overtime Compensation. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on the Employer's business outside their regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (3) If Where the employee elects to take compensatory time offopts for payment in cash, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requestedworked. (1) An employee shall not have more than sixty (60) hours for Appendix 2(a) employees or seventy (70) hours for Appendix 2(b) employees of compensatory time banked at any one time. When an employee opts for compensatory time off, such time off shall be taken at a time mutually agreed to between the Employer and the employee. However, for compensatory time earned in November or December, it may be mutually agreed to schedule such time off within the first six (6) months of the following year. Such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Employer. (2) Any compensatory time off remaining at the end of the calendar year shall be paid in cash. (g) The hour rate for instructional staff shall be calculated in accordance with this agreement. (h) Once annually, an employee who has thirty (30) hours for Appendix 2(a) employees or thirty-five (35) for Appendix 2(b) employees compensatory time banked as of December 1st, may set aside up to the same amount to be taken as though it were part of their annual vacation for the following year by requesting such in writing prior to December 15th.

Overtime Compensation. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on the Employer's business outside their his/her regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1d) Overtime compensation shall be compensated either monetary or in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) . If the employee elects to take compensatory chooses time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash scheduled by mutual agreement between the Employer and the provision of employee. Employees shall within ninety (590) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by days from the end of the month following the month in which the he/she worked overtime, schedule such earned time off. (e) All overtime cash payment was requestedmust be paid out or taken as earned time off before April 1st of each year.

Overtime Compensation. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on employer business outside their regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1) Overtime All overtime earned will be converted to a dollar equivalency for purposes of banking overtime. Employees wishing to be compensated for overtime shall request a dollar amount added to their paycheque pursuant to the option laid out below in 16(d)(1)(i)(ii)(iii). (i) An employee may request a payout from their overtime bank equivalent to what they would have earned for the days off work requested. Substitution rates shall be compensated either in cash or time off, or used where requested and applicable to the employee. (ii) An employee may request a payout from their overtime bank not equivalent to what they would have earned for the days off work requested. Such shall be deemed a lump sum payment. (iii) An employee may request a combination of both at the employee's option(d)(1)(i) and (ii) above. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-year end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreementthe appropriate Appendices 6, 7 or 8, or upon termination. (3e) If Article 3(h) and (i) of Appendix 8 notwithstanding, unused overtime earned in the employee elects to take compensatory time off, prior year shall be paid out by March 30th of the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earnedsubsequent year or upon termination. (4f) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off Negotiated wage increases shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall applyapplied to employee overtime banks. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requested.

Overtime Compensation. (a) Overtime worked shall be compensated at the following rates: (1) time and one-half for (1½x) for: (i) the first two (2) hours of overtime on a worked in any given day (ii) the first seven (7) hours in excess of the regularly scheduled workdayworkweek; (2) at double-time (2x) for all hours worked in excess of the two hours referred to in (1) above; andArticle 16.6(a)(1); (3) if an employee is called out without notice on his/her day of rest or an employee is directed to work on his/her day of rest then overtime will be compensated at the rate of double-time (2x) for all hours worked on a day of rest. The compensation of overtime in (1) and (2) is to be on a daily basis and not cumulativeworked. (b) An employee who works on a designated holiday which is not a scheduled workday shall be considered to have worked overtime and shall receive their his/her regular days day's pay, and shall receive additional compensation at the rate of doubletime and one-time half (1½x) for all hours worked; except for Christmas and New Years Year's when the additional compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for all hours worked. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on the Employer's business outside their his/her regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1d) Overtime compensation for any overtime worked on a specific day shall be compensated either all monetary or all in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) . If the employee elects to take compensatory chooses time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash scheduled by mutual agreement between the Employer and the provision of employee. Employees shall within six (56) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by months from the end of the month following in which he/she worked overtime, schedule such earned time off. If overtime is not scheduled within six (6) months from the end of the month in which it was worked, the overtime cash payment was requestedwill be paid out.

Overtime Compensation. (3) If the employee elects to take compensatory time off, s/he shall so advise the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule Employer before the end of the pay period and such time off shall be scheduled by mutual agreement within 60 sixty (60) days from it being earned. (43) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earnedreached, the employee may elect, at any time after the sixty (60) days, to receive cash payment for such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall applyoff. (54) Where overtime earned is paid in cash cash, the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month next pay period immediately following the month in which the overtime employee opts for cash payment was requestedpursuant to Clause 16.6(c)(1) or (3) above, as the case may be. Any compensatory time off unscheduled at the fiscal year end or on termination, whichever first occurs, shall be paid in cash at that time.

(2e) Accumulated overtime shall be paid Where the Employee opts for payment in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) If the employee elects to take compensatory time offcash, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash was worked. (1) An Employee shall not have more than sixty (60) hours for Appendix 2(a) Employees or seventy (70) hours for Appendix 2(b) Employees of compensatory time banked at any one time. When an Employee opts for compensatory time off, such time off shall be taken at a time mutually agreed to between the Employer and the Employee. However, for compensatory time earned in November or December, it may be mutually agreed to schedule such time off within the first six (6) months of the following year. Such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld by the Employer. (2) Any compensatory time off remaining at the end of the calendar year shall be paid in cash. (3) If requested in writing prior to December 15th, an Employee may elect to have the payment was requestedin ii) above made to the voluntary group RRSP administered by the College. (g) The hour rate for instructional staff shall be calculated in accordance with this Agreement. (h) Once annually, an Employee who has thirty (30) hours for Appendix 2(a) Employees or thirty-five (35) for Appendix 2(b) Employees compensatory time banked as of December 1st, may set aside up to the same amount to be taken as though it were part of their annual vacation for the following year by requesting such in writing prior to December 15th.

Employees wishing to be compensated for overtime shall request a dollar amount added to their paycheque pursuant to the option laid out below in 16(d)(i)(ii)(iii). (i) An employee may request a payout from their overtime bank equivalent to what they would have earned for the days off work requested. Substitution rates shall be compensated either in cash or time off, or used where requested and applicable to the employee. (ii) An employee may request a payout from their overtime bank not equivalent to what they would have earned for the days off work requested. Such shall be deemed a lump sump payment. (iii) An employee may request a combination of both at the employee's option(d)(1)(i) and (ii) above. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreementthe appropriate Appendices 6, 7 or 8, or upon termination. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1d) Employees shall have the option of receiving cash for overtime compensation or the equivalent compensating time off in lieu of being paid, to a limit of fifty (50) hours. (e) If employees elect to take compensating time off for overtime compensation, they shall be entitled within sixty (60) days to schedule such earned time off. (f) At year end, or at termination of employment, any overtime banked during that calendar year shall automatically be paid in cash. (g) Overtime shall be compensated either calculated in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's optionthirty (30) minute increments. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) If the employee elects to take compensatory time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requested.

(b) An employee who works on a designated holiday which is not a scheduled workday shall be considered to have worked overtime and shall receive their regular days pay, and shall receive additional compensation at the rate of double-time for all hours worked; except for Christmas and New Years Year's when the additional compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for all hours worked. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on employer business outside their regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1d) Overtime compensation shall be compensated either monetary or in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) . If the employee elects to take compensatory chooses time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off shall be scheduled by mutual agreement between the Employer and the employee. Employees shall within 60 days from it being earnedthe end of the month in which they worked overtime, schedule such time off. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5e) Where overtime earned is paid in cash cash, the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month next pay period immediately following the month in which the employee opts for cash payment. (1) Any overtime cash still owing at the end of the calendar year may be taken as compensatory time off at a mutually agreeable time prior to the end of the fiscal year. Should this become impossible, all outstanding overtime shall be compensated by monetary payment was requestedat the end of the fiscal year, or upon termination, whichever occurs earlier. (2) Notwithstanding (f)(1) above, an employee who has opted for compensatory time off (CTO) for overtime worked in one calendar year may, by mutual agreement, schedule the CTO to be taken by April 30th, of the following calendar year, and the employee may not subsequently opt for monetary payout for the overtime.

Overtime Compensation. (b) An employee who works on a designated holiday which is not a scheduled workday work day shall be considered to have worked overtime and shall receive their regular days pay, and shall receive additional compensation at the rate of double-double time (2x) for all hours worked; except for Christmas and New Years when the additional compensation shall be at the rate of double-double time and one-half (2½x) for all hours worked. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on Employer business outside their regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1) Overtime shall be compensated either in cash or time off, or a combination of both at the employee's optionas provided in this Agreement. (2) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreementherein, or upon termination. (3e) If the an employee elects while substituting in a higher paying position earns overtime and has elected to take compensatory time offoff for that overtime, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on wage paid during the scheduling period of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall applyapplicable rate for the higher paying position. (5f) Where Auxiliary employees may take overtime earned is paid in cash or CTO. If the Authority employee opts for compensatory time off, such time off shall make every reasonable effort be taken at a time mutually agreed to make payment by between the end of Employer and the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requestedemployee.

Overtime Compensation. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on the Employer's business outside their his/her regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1c) Overtime compensation shall be compensated either monetary or in cash or time off, or a combination of both off at the employee's option. If the employee chooses time off, such time off shall be scheduled by mutual agreement between the employee and the Employer. (2d) Accumulated overtime The employee shall advise the pay office of his/her election to have either all cash or all compensatory time off on each day. If no election is made, all cash will be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon terminationgiven. (3e) If the employee elects to take compensatory time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the The scheduling of compensatory time off canwill be subject to operational requirements, but will not be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled unreasonably withheld. (f) Accumulated compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall applypaid out upon layoff. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requested.

Overtime Compensation. The compensation of overtime in (1) and (2) is to be on a daily basis and not cumulative. (b) An employee who works on a designated holiday which is not a scheduled workday shall be considered to have worked overtime and shall receive their his/her regular days day's pay, and shall receive additional compensation at the rate of double-time double‐time for all hours worked; except for Christmas and New Years Year's when the additional compensation shall be at the rate of double-time double‐time and one-half one‐half for all hours worked. (c) An employee on travel status who is required to travel on college business outside their his/her regular working hours shall be compensated at the applicable overtime rates for all hours travelled. The Authority Employer may determine the means of such travel. (1d) Overtime The employee shall be have the option of being compensated either in cash for overtime as pay or as compe satory time off, or a combination of both at the employee's option. (2e) Accumulated overtime shall be paid in cash at the fiscal year-end or on such other date(s) as provided in this agreement, or upon termination. (3) If Where the employee elects to take compensatory time offopts for payment in cash, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash and the provision of (5) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority Employer shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by the end of the month following the month in which the overtime cash payment was requestedworked. (f) An employee shall not have more than 70 hours of compensatory time banked at any one time. When an employee opts for compensatory time off, such time off shall be taken at a time mutually agreed to between the Employer and the employee. Such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld by the ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇. Any compensatory time off remaining at the end of the calendar year shall be paid in cash. However, for compensatory time earned in November or December, it may be mutually agreed to schedule such time off within the first three months of the following year. (g) Once annually, an employee who has 35 hours of compensatory time banked as of December 1st, may set aside up to 35 hours to be taken as though it were part of their annual vacation for the following year by requesting such in writing prior to December 15th.

If the employee elects to take compensatory chooses time off, the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to schedule such time off by mutual agreement within 60 days from it being earned. (4) If mutual agreement on the scheduling of compensatory time off cannot be reached within 60 days from it being earned, such unscheduled compensatory time off shall be taken in cash scheduled by mutual agreement between the Employer and the provision of employee. Employees shall within sixty (560) below shall apply. (5) Where overtime earned is paid in cash the Authority shall make every reasonable effort to make payment by days from the end of the month following the month in which he/she worked overtime, schedule such earned time off. (i) Any overtime owing at the end of the calendar year may be taken as compensatory time off at a mutually agreeable time prior to March 31 each year. Should this become impossible, all outstanding overtime cash shall be compensated by monetary payment was requestedat the end of March or termination. (ii) Notwithstanding (d)(1) above, an employee who has opted for compensatory time off (CTO) for overtime worked in one (1) calendar year may, by mutual agreement, schedule the CTO to be taken by March 31, of the following calendar year, and the employee may not subsequently apply for monetary payout for the overtime.
