- Overtime Premium and No Pyramiding Clause Samples

- Overtime Premium and No Pyramiding. Subject to any superior conditions, the overtime rate shall be time and one-half (1-1/2) the employee's straight-time hourly rate. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked. Where employees are called back to work after having completed a regular shift, and prior to the commencement of their next regular shift, they shall receive a minimum of four hours of work or four hours pay at the rate of time and one-half their regular hourly earnings. Superior provisions shall remain. Standby An employee who is required to remain available for duty on standby, outside the normal working hours for that particular employee, shall receive standby pay in the amount of per hour for all hours on standby. Standby pay shall, however, cease where an employee is called into work under Article above and works during the period of standby.
