Overtime Payments. (1) Subject to the provisions of this subclause, all work performed outside of the Ordinary Hours and time worked to accrue an RDO on any day, Monday to Friday, inclusive, shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter. (2) Work performed on Saturdays prior to 12.00 noon shall be paid for at the rate of time and one half for the first two hours and double time thereafter. (3) Work performed on Saturdays after 12.00 noon or on Sundays shall be paid for at the rate of double time. (4) Work performed on any day prescribed as a public holiday under this Agreement shall be paid for at the rate of double time and a half except when another day is substituted in accordance with subclause (1) or subclause (2) of Clause 33Public Holidays of this Agreement. (5) An Employee who works on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday shall be paid for at least two (2) hours at the appropriate overtime rate except as provided in subclause (6) of this clause. (6) In computing overtime each day shall stand alone but when an Employee works overtime which continues beyond midnight on any day, the time worked after midnight shall be deemed to be part of the previous day’s work for the purpose of this subclause. (7) The provisions of this clause do not operate so as to require payment of more than double time rates, or double time and a half on a public holiday prescribed under this Agreement for any work. (8) When an Employee is required to work Additional Overtime after the completion of the Project Working Hours on any day Monday to Saturday inclusive, they shall be entitled to a crib break of twenty (20) minutes in duration. (9) The crib break shall be taken at the completion of the Project Working Hours scheduled for that day and shall be paid for at Ordinary Time Wages. (10) During the period of Additional Overtime, the Employee shall be entitled to a further crib break of twenty (20) minutes duration after each four (4) hours of continuous work. The second and subsequent crib breaks shall be without deduction of pay. (11) The Company may vary the provisions of subclause (8), (9) and (10) of this clause to suit the circumstances of the work in hand by paying each Employee concerned an additional twenty (20) minutes at Ordinary Time Wages in lieu of the crib break.

Overtime Payments. It is the intent of the Employer to distribute overtime, wherever possible, in an equitable manner to employees available and able to perform the work. First consideration shall be given to employees within the job category. One and one-half (1 ½) times an employee’s base rate will be paid for hours worked in excess of seven and one-half (7 ½) hours in a work day except that two (2) times an employee’s base rate will be paid for: (a) All hours in excess of eight and one-half (8 ½) hours worked in a work day. When an employee is required by the Employer to work during the employee’s unpaid meal period, that period will be paid at double time. (b) All hours in excess of seven and one-half (7 ½) hours worked in a work day where an employee works overtime both before and after his/her scheduled shift on that day. (c) All work on an employee’s scheduled days off up to nine (9) hours 200%, and thereafter 225%. It is the intent of the Employer to minimize having employees work more than ten and one-half (10 ½) hours on their scheduled days off. (d) All overtime worked between the hours of 00.00 and his/her normal starting time. (e) Employees who work overtime may transfer to an overtime leave bank up to 100% of the overtime hours they earned to be taken as time off in lieu of wages, provided that no employee may bank more than a total of seventy-five (75) hours in a calendar year. Any such overtime so banked must be taken off at a time mutually agreed upon with the employee’s Supervisor up to the maximum of seventy-five (75) hours taken in any calendar year. Any time remaining in an employee’s overtime bank at the end of a calendar year shall be carried over to the following year’s overtime bank. Where such time is carried over from one year to a subsequent year, the employee will be permitted to bank only those hours sufficient to bring his/her bank to the seventy-five (75) hour maximum in the subsequent calendar year. (For example, an employee carrying over fifteen (15) hours to a subsequent year will only be permitted to bank up to an additional sixty (60) hours during that subsequent year.) (f) An employee may request to have the total amount in their overtime bank paid out at any time in which case they will be paid out at a rate at which the overtime was earned. Overtime Payments. All Units except RC-10) a. If a full-time employee is charged with a UA (unexcused absence) or XA (unexcused-unreported absence), on a normal workday and the employee works on his/her day off during that same work week -- the employee will receive overtime at the straight time hourly rate for time worked on his/her day off until the employee has worked in excess of thirty-seven and one-half hours in RC- 14, RC-28, RC-42; and in excess of the employee's normal work week for RC-6, RC-9 and RC-62/63. b. If a full-time employee takes a day off without pay, except RC-09 residential schools furlough days during the academic year, for which he/she is not eligible for a Leave under Article VI, Section 3 or Article XXIII of the Master Contract, for a normal workday and the employee works on his/her day off during that same work week -- the employee will receive overtime at the straight time hourly rate for time worked on his/her day off until the employee has worked in excess of thirty-seven and one-half hours in RC- 14, RC-28, RC-42; and in excess of the employee's normal work week for RC-6, RC-9 and RC-62/63. c. If a full-time employee was suspended without pay on a normal workday and the employee works on his/her day off during that same work week -- the employee will receive overtime at the straight time hourly rate for time worked on his/her day off until the employee has worked in excess of thirty-seven and one-half hours in RC-14, RC-28, RC-42; and in excess of the employee's normal work week for RC-6, RC-9 and RC-62/63. d. Suspension time will not be imposed in such a manner so as to avoid the payment of overtime pursuant to this Article. e. Overtime rotation procedures shall not be affected by these procedures. The normal overtime rotation will not be changed or altered among eligible employees in order to assign overtime hours to employees who would not be eligible for overtime pursuant to Paragraph 2 of this Section.
Overtime Payments. (a) Employees who are called out to work on a day they are normally scheduled off shall be paid 200% of their normal straight- time rate for all hours worked. (b) Employees called out to work overtime immediately preceding their scheduled shift shall be paid at 200% of their normal straight-time rate for the time worked prior to the onset of their regular shift and then revert to their normal straight-time rate of pay. (c) Overtime worked following a regular shift shall be paid at 200% of the normal straight-time rate. (d) Employees shall be permitted to bank overtime at the rate earned to a maximum of eight (8) shifts or eighty (80) hours, whichever is greater, per vacation year. Employees may use accumulated bank time from a previous vacation year and then rebank a maximum of eighty (80) hours in the current vacation year. The maximum number of overtime hours in an employee’s bank cannot exceed one hundred (100) at any one time. This provision shall not apply to work performed on a statutory holiday or a day proclaimed in lieu thereof unless performed on a scheduled day off, or is in excess of the regular shift. Banked overtime may be taken off upon request to the employee's supervisor. Banked overtime may be scheduled at the time of vacation sign-up, but only after all regularly scheduled vacations and banked in lieu time have been selected. The scheduling of any banked time off shall be subject to operational requirements. Banked time may be cashed in by request, with a minimum of two (2) pay periods notice. Employees wishing to bank overtime must so indicate at the same time the overtime is worked.
Overtime Payments. All time worked in excess of the hours specified in Article 12.04 shall be paid for at the rate of double time. All overtime worked on scheduled days off in lieu of Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays shall be paid at the rate of double time. All time worked on annual vacation shall be paid for at double time plus regular salary.
