Part Time Hours Sample Clauses

Part Time Hours. The parties agree that the Employee is being employed to perform duties on a part time basis. The hours and days on which the Employee shall work are as follows: __________________________________________________ (insert details of hours and days.) These hours may be varied by mutual agreement and any variation will be documented and signed by both parties. You are entitled to the meal breaks and rest breaks provided in the Employment Relations ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, and where amended, your entitlements will be amended accordingly.

Part Time Hours. Unit members who work less than the regular week and day as set forth in 5.1.1 above shall be designated part-time and shall have hours scheduled appropriately by the District. At the start of the work year all part-time unit members shall be assigned a regular set minimum hourly schedule.

Part Time Hours. The Employer will endeavour to maximize the hours of Part-time Employees before the utilization of casual Employees. Where any Part-time Employee works 35 hours a week for 38 consecutive weeks in the same position, they will be deemed a Full-time Employee and gain all provisions provided to this class. The Employer, however, retains the right to utilize short-term Employees at its discretion pursuant to the short-term definition in Article 3.04.

Part Time Hours. FP has the right in its discretion to employ part-time employees, with no guarantee of a minimum number of days or hours each week; to assign such part-time employees work on a regular weekly basis or a temporary basis; and to increase, reduce or eliminate part-time hours based on operational needs. The number of part-time employees that FP decides to employ rests in FP’s discretion.

Part Time Hours. If it is necessary to reduce permanently the hours of a part-time position such that the incumbent of the position is no longer eligible to receive the full Employer's insurance contribution or is no longer eligible to participate in the Employer's insurance program, the Appointing Authority shall request volunteers for the position from among part-time nurses in the same class, employment condition, and work area. If one or more nurses volunteer for the position, the most senior qualified volunteer shall be offered the position. If there are no volunteers, the least senior qualified nurse in the same class, employment condition, and work area shall be assigned to the position.

Part Time Hours. If the Employee is engaged on a part-time basis, the Employee will be engaged for less than 38 hours per week for a minimum of four (4) hours per day. The Employee will be paid at an hourly rate at 1/38th of the wage rate as prescribed in clause 3.

Hourly Rate The Employee shall be paid according to an hourly rate which shall be $________( insert rate) as number per hour. Part Time Hours. The workweek for any part-time unit member regularly scheduled to a workday of four (4) hours or more during the workweek shall consist of no more than five (5) consecutive working days. 8.5.1 Part time unit members shall receive fringe benefits (sick leave, vacation accrual, and holiday pay), properly prorated based upon the total number of daily regularly assigned hours per Education Code section 45136. 8.5.2 Education Code Section 45137 states that when an employee works a minimum of thirty (30) minutes per day in excess of his/her part-time assignment for twenty (20) consecutive days or more, the basic assignment must be changed to reflect the longer hours in order to acquire fringe benefits on a properly prorated basis. Fringe benefits are defined as sick leave, vacation accrual, and holiday pay.

Part Time Hours. 3.16.1. Part time arrangements may occur for a number of reasons. Some positions may be permanent part-time while others may be part-time for a specified period of time due to an employee request. 3.16.2. Part-time arrangements allow employees to work fewer hours than a full time employee. The days and hours worked should be fixed. Part-time employees are entitled to all benefits on a pro-rata basis, dependent upon the number of hours they work. 3.16.3. Where a part-time employee agrees to work additional hours they will be paid the ordinary rate for any time up to the full ordinary hours (ie 35 or 38) and overtime for anything in addition in accordance with the provisions of the Award. 3.16.4. Where a part-time employee agrees to work additional hours they may request that the additional hours accrue as Flexi Time. Where Council agrees to such a request the accrual of Flexi Time will be in accordance with the provisions of this protocol. 3.16.5. Employees engaged on a part-time basis will be subject to the provisions of the Award governing part-time employment.
