Part-Timers Clause Samples

Part-Timers. Each part-time employee shall be scheduled to work, at least, twenty-four (24) straight-time hours per week unless the employee has waived this requirement by signing a written waiver. Waivers may be revoked by the employee on two (2) weeks written notice. In the event an employee signs a waiver under this provision, the Union shall be provided with a copy within one (1) week of the waiver becoming effective.
Part-Timers. The least senior part-time employee within an affected classification who is being laid off from work in his store, may displace the least senior part-time employee in the same classification within a store in the same manner as set forth in Paragraph (b), above. If the affected part-time employee is the least senior within the stores, he shall be laid off and shall have no bumping rights.
Part-Timers. Every employee or former employee of the Company who is or has been a part time employee is not and has never been excluded from membership of the Disclosed Scheme or any scheme operated by the Company.
Part-Timers a. Per availability, and at the discretion of the Department Chair and in consultation with Coordinators, adjunct faculty who have been offered and accepted 8 semesters without a break and who are appointed for a 9th consecutive semester may be offered a full-year contract. b. All courses taught by part time faculty shall count toward meeting the requirements for entry into the part time seniority pool. The offering of courses to part time faculty who are in the seniority pool shall apply to every term (fall, spring, summer and intersessions.)
Part-Timers. The Employer may hire part-time Mechanic/Maintenance Employees as it deems necessary but must designate employees as part-time and may not work them more than an average of 24 hours per week. When seeking to hire Mechanics/Maintenance Employees, the Company shall use reasonable, good faith efforts to hire full-time employees, but shall be permitted to hire employees on a part-time basis if it is reasonably unable to identify full-time new hires. The number of part-time Mechanic/Maintenance employees shall not exceed 2550% of the Mechanic/Maintenance Employee component of the Company’s workforce.
Part-Timers. The Employer will not split a full-time position in which there is an incumbent into part-time jobs.

  • Part-Time A part-time employee is an employee who regularly works less than forty (40) hours per week. The Agency shall not use part-time employees to avoid full-time benefits.

  • Part-Time Nurse is a Nurse hired to a position to work on a regular or temporary basis that is less than the work period of a Full-Time Nurse.

The Employer agrees to review any ASF position that is less than one (1) FTE if the Association can demonstrate that the position has regularly been required to work a work period that substantially exceeds the normal work period as defined above, and adjust the FTE of the respective position as deemed appropriate by the Employer.

  • Part-Time Teachers A "part-time teacher" is one who is employed under written contract but who is assigned to duties on a regular basis that requires less than a full-time equivalent. A part-time teacher shall be paid a salary in accordance with the basic salary schedule, proportionate to the percentage of the full-time equivalent taught each day as outlined in the written contract.
