Common use of Partial Service Credit Clause in Contracts

Partial Service Credit. A partial year's service credit (half-step placement) results, when at the beginning of a particular school year, an employee is credited with less than one (1) full year of service; or, in the case of a more senior employee, is credited with one (1) or more full year of service, plus some additional number of work days' service, which is less than another full year of service.
