Particular Methods of Procurement of Goods and Non Consulting Services Sample Clauses

The 'Particular Methods of Procurement of Goods and Non-consulting Services' clause defines the specific procedures and approaches that must be followed when acquiring goods and non-consulting services under a contract. It typically outlines which procurement methods are permitted—such as open bidding, direct contracting, or shopping—and may set thresholds or conditions for their use. For example, it might require competitive bidding for purchases above a certain value, while allowing direct procurement for smaller or urgent needs. This clause ensures transparency, fairness, and efficiency in the procurement process, helping to prevent favoritism and ensure value for money.
