Patches Sample Clauses
The "patches" clause defines the rules and procedures for making updates, corrections, or improvements to software or systems after their initial release. Typically, this clause outlines how patches are delivered, the responsibilities of each party regarding the application of patches, and any timelines or notification requirements. For example, it may specify that the provider must supply security patches within a certain timeframe or that the customer is responsible for installing them. The core function of this clause is to ensure ongoing maintenance and security of the software, addressing vulnerabilities or bugs as they arise and clarifying each party's obligations in the patch management process.
