Payment in Lieu of Vacation Leave. An employee who requests and receives payment in lieu of vacation leave shall not accumulate seniority for the hours paid.
Payment in Lieu of Vacation Leave a. Employees may elect to receive a payout of up to 40 hours of unused, accrued vacation leave. A written payment request must be submitted to Human Resources by September 1st for payment with the last pay period of the current fiscal year. The employee’s remaining accrued vacation leave hours may not be less than 80 hours at the time of payout.
Payment in Lieu of Vacation Leave. An employee who has completed the equivalent of 365 calendar days of employment who leaves the Department service for any reason shall be paid at the hourly rate as set forth in Section 8.C. for unused vacation accrued to the date of separation, provided that such entitlement shall not exceed vacation earned during the two years of employment preceding such separation.

  • VACATION LEAVE WITH PAY 14.01 The vacation year shall be from April 1st of one calendar year to March 31st of the following calendar year inclusive.

The employee must make every reasonable attempt to mitigate any losses incurred and will provide proof of such action, when available, to the Employer.

  • Vacation Leave 11.1 Employees will retain and carry forward any eligible and unused vacation leave that was accrued prior to the effective date of this Agreement.
