Payment of Increments. (a) Annual increments are payable on 1 April each year, or on 1 September each year in the case of those staff to which paragraph (b) below applies, subject to 26 weeks satisfactory service under this Report, until the maximum of the scale is reached. (b) A youth or community worker who moves from teaching service in a maintained school or further education establishment or service under the Soulbury Report, and who formerly received his/her annual increment on 1 September, shall continue to receive his/her increment on his/her new scale on 1 September each year, subject to the provisions set out in Paragraph (a) above.

In the case of a teacher who begins employment on the first day of a month, the increments will be paid from the anniversary date of hire. b. The Board may withdraw one (1) increment if the teacher is at maximum or withhold one (1) increment, if the teacher is not at maximum, when the reports of the Superintendent of Schools indicate less than satisfactory performance. c. In any case, where an increment is to be withheld or withdrawn pursuant to Article B.1.15.b, the Board shall give the teacher concerned written notification on or before April 25th. The statement of reasons shall contain details of previous assistance offered to the teacher and details indicating prior notification of such action. The teacher may grieve the decision under Article A.6
Payment of Increments. 7 11.7.1 Payment of the Professional Growth increment will be in the 8 form of an annual monetary award. Each increment is equal to $300.00. 9 11.7.2 Payment shall be made on the first warrant issued for time 10 worked after July 1 of the succeeding year unless there is a special request by the 11 unit member to have the increment paid on a monthly basis. 12 11.7.2.1 Notice from the unit member to receive their professional 13 growth on a monthly basis shall be received by the District on or before July 5 of 14 any year. 15 11.7.2.2 Unit members receiving monthly payments for professional 16 growth, who retire, are severed from employment, voluntarily leave the district, or 17 begin an unpaid leave that will continue through June 30, shall receive payment 18 for all professional growth increments due on the last pay warrant received from 19 the District. 20 11.7.3 For 2007-2008 only, a unit member may earn up to two 21 additional one-time $300 increments for those unit members who have already 22 earned eight (8) professional growth award increments. 23 11.7.3.1 The credits used to earn a stipend after the eighth (8th) 24 increment cannot be used in any future Professional Growth Awards. 25 // 26 // 27 // 28 // 29 // 30 //
Payment of Increments. Where a staff member’s salary classification changes, the date of effect of the change will become the date of effect for future incremental increases. Payment of salary increases due to increments, promotion or reclassification will be made on or after the date of the increase, provided that, where an increase has effect from 1 January, payment may be made on the first pay-day in February.

Payment of Increments. 3.6.1 Employee performance, for the purpose of the payment of salary increments, shall be assessed on an annual basis as at their anniversary date via the use of a formalised performance appraisal program and associated policy documents. Employees will be required to meet agreed KPI’s as agreed between the parties and outlined within their position descriptions. 3.6.2 Unless otherwise provided for in this Agreement, Employees shall move to the next highest pay increment within their classification band only if their performance over the preceding 12 months is considered to be satisfactory. 3.6.3 Where an Employee’s performance is considered to be unsatisfactory for the purposes of a salary increment they shall be placed on a performance improvement plan via the Human Resource Manager and Chief Inspector. 3.6.4 Where possible, Employees will be assessed in the month of their anniversary date. Where an Employee is determined to have achieved satisfactory performance on their review and subject to meeting any mandatory qualification requirements, their salary will be increased to the next highest pay point within the classification from the first full pay period after their anniversary date. 3.6.5 All existing Employee’s with more than 12 months service at the date of lodgement of this Agreement, will be deemed, for the purposes of increments, to have an anniversary date of 1 October. 3.6.6 All existing Employee’s with less than 12 months service at the date of lodgement of this Agreement, will be deemed, for the purposes of increments, to have an anniversary date of 1 October, unless they have not completed 12 months service at that date, in which case they shall be assessed at their actual anniversary date. In these circumstances the review date may be bought forward at the discretion of the Chief Inspector. 3.6.7 The first reviews for the purposes of payment of increments shall be conducted on or around 1 October 2008. Pay increases arising from this first review shall be paid from the first full pay period after 1 October 2008.

  • Annual Increments (a) For regular full-time Employees, a one-step increase within the salary range shall become effective as of the first day of April or the first day of October as the case may be. Where the anniversary date of an initial appointment falls between January 1 and June 30, the date of the increment increase will be April 1, and where between July 1 and December 31, the date of the increment increase will be October 1. (b) A regular full-time Employee who receives a promotion or reclassification between January 1 and June 30, shall have his/her anniversary date as of April 1 of the following year and those regular fulltime Employees who receive promotion or reclassification between July 1 and December 31 shall have their anniversary date as of October 1 of the following year. (c) Regular part-time Employees and auxiliary Employees shall receive their increments upon completion of 1827 hours. (d) Any absence from duty with pay shall not result in a delay in the increment. (e) The increment date shall not be delayed for such periods during leave of absence without pay when on an assignment related to the Employee’s employment with the Employer and when so approved at the time the leave was granted.
