Common use of Phone Allowance Clause in Contracts

Phone Allowance. The Company and Union recognize that the use of “Smart Phone” technology in the workplace can potentially enhance productivity and be of benefit to both the employee and the company. Because of this, the company is authorizing a voluntary allowance provided on a monthly basis of $25.00 for employees who maintain a “Smart Phone.” The company will determine classifications that are authorized to receive this special “Smart Phone” allowance.
