Physical Interface. As set forth herein, a MAUL arrangement establishes a physical point of interface between the Verizon and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ networks through which ▇▇▇▇▇▇ may access unbundled local Loops served by the relevant Central Office. 3.1 ▇▇▇▇▇▇ is responsible for bringing its metallic facilities to the manhole or entrance facility (“Manhole Zero”) that is designated by Verizon, in its sole discretion, for the relevant Central Office. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ must gain access to Manhole Zero through the terms and conditions set forth in a separate agreement with Verizon in accordance with Section 9 of the Additional Services Attachment of the Agreement. Metallic facilities of ▇▇▇▇▇▇ that share any common power space or power conduit infrastructure will not be permitted to terminate in a Verizon Central Office. Where existing conduit or entrance facilities are not available, ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall promptly pay to Verizon special construction charges that Verizon bills for such work as may be necessary. 3.2 ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall bring its metallic cable to Manhole Zero and shall allow sufficient length to permit extension of the metallic cable to a point where it will be spliced to Verizon-furnished cable as set forth in the Final Plan (as hereinafter defined). 3.3 Verizon shall install (and may furnish, in accordance with the Final Plan) facilities from Manhole Zero to a Central Office protector frame, and shall terminate the facility in accordance with the terms hereof, and the Final Plan. 3.4 The physical point of interface between the Parties’ networks shall be in Manhole Zero (the “Point of Interface”). Verizon shall perform the cable splice (if any) in Manhole Zero and shall have exclusive control over all facilities on its side of the Point of Interface, and ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall have exclusive control over all facilities on its side of the Point of Interface. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall be financially responsible, in accordance with the terms hereof and the Final Plan, for all facilities between the Point of Interface and the Main Distribution Frame at the relevant Central Office.
Physical Interface. The physical interface between the ECNs shall be 120 Ohm balanced termination provided by means of a twisted pair terminated on 10 pair Kröne insulation displacement terminating blocks. A loss of 6 dB is supported for both termination types.
Physical Interface. The physical interface shall be considered the fiber patch panel in the enclosure box located at the two locations noted in Section 2 above. The connector panels are approved and appropriate for the application and the size of cable to be connected. The connector panel locations provide 24-hour access to both Verizon and Charter. The connector panels are individually locked. The interconnecting carrier may splice its fiber to the fiber stub provided at the patch enclosure. The Parties will pay any additional cost for the connector panel and installation as set forth in Section 11. Verizon is to have access to the Verizon side of the MSFM and Charter will have access to the Charter side of the MSFM. Both parties shall provide monitoring and maintenance capability 24 hours a day for their respective side of the MSFM.
Physical Interface. The interconnection between the BT System and the Operator System shall be provided by a BT digital path that terminates on a BT Circuit Termination Unit (CTU) located within the building housing the Operator Switch. The BT CTU will present a G703 interface on two 75 ohm coaxial cables direct to either the Operator Switch or an Operator Digital Distribution Frame (DDF) which is co-located with the Operator Switch. The Point of Connection shall be the 75 ohm G703 coaxial connector at the BT end of the cables connecting the CTU to the Operator Switch (or co-located Operator DDF) (See Fig 1). The coaxial cables connecting the CTU to the Operator Switch shall have a loss not exceeding 6dB at 1024 kHz (see Fig 1).
