Position Upgrade. Unit employees whose position is upgraded shall receive a wage increase of the difference between the two starting rates, but no less than the starting rate of the higher paying position. In the event there is no current starting wage for a position, the employer will promote the incumbent employee with an increase of $1.00 per hour until such time as a wage increase and starting rate has been negotiated.

Position Upgrade. If an employee has an interest in an upgrade they must submit the appropriate paperwork to the Human Resources Department. Once an employee job analysis questionnaire is completed and returned to the Human Resources Department, it will then be reviewed by the Department Head and rated by Human Resources. Once a determination is made it is then presented to the applicant by Human Resources and the Department Head within three weeks after the submission of the request. If the clerical employee disagrees with the decision, the Township will have a third party review the results. The third party will be another municipal human resource administrator or the personnel committee from the Conference of Western ▇▇▇▇▇. This process shall be addressed within thirty (30) days. The effected employee will be made aware as to the decision made in a timely manner.

  • Distribution Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the Distribution Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. If the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Interconnection Customer agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct Distribution Upgrades. The actual cost of the Distribution Upgrades, including overheads, shall be directly assigned to the Interconnection Customer. The Interconnection Customer shall be responsible for its share of all reasonable expenses, including overheads, associated with owning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and replacing the Distribution Upgrades, as set forth in Attachment 6 to this Agreement.

  • Local Circuit Switching Capability, including Tandem Switching Capability 4.2.1 Local circuit switching capability is defined as all line-side and trunk-side facilities, plus the features, functions, and capabilities of the switch. The features, functions, and capabilities of the switch shall include the basic switching function of connecting lines to lines, lines to trunks, trunks to lines, and trunks to trunks.   • Term Position A position occupied by a full-time or part-time nurse for a specified period of time, up to a maximum of sixty (60) weeks, where patient/client/resident census or workload necessitates a temporary increase in staffing, if mutually agreed, to replace a nurse(s) who is/are on vacation or leave of absence, or to carry out a special short term project or where the Employer has provided notice of permanent deletion of position(s) under the Memorandum of Understanding regarding Employment Security, or as otherwise mutually agreed between the Union and the Employer. If the Employer determines there is a term position to be filled by a nurse, the term position shall be posted in accordance with Article 30. This shall not preclude the Employer from utilizing part-time nurses and/or casual nurses to work available shifts as specified in Articles 34 and 35 when the Employer decides that a term position is not required. The Employer shall provide written confirmation of the start and expiry dates of the term position prior to the nurse's commencement in the position. This period may be extended if the Employer so requests and the Union agrees. The maximum duration specified in paragraph 1 above for term positions shall not apply in situations where a nurse is absent indefinitely due to Workers Compensation and/or illness and/or accident or where there is a temporary vacancy due to leave for Public Office.   • New Position An approved position not reflected in the current year budget complement.

  • System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades Connecting Transmission Owner shall design, procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Appendix A hereto. The responsibility of the Developer for costs related to System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Attachment S to the ISO OATT.
