The Practical Experience clause sets out requirements for individuals to gain hands-on, real-world experience in a specific field or profession as part of their qualification or employment. Typically, this clause outlines the duration, type, and supervision of the experience, such as internships, apprenticeships, or on-the-job training, and may specify reporting or assessment procedures. Its core function is to ensure that individuals not only possess theoretical knowledge but also develop the practical skills necessary to perform effectively in their roles, thereby bridging the gap between academic learning and professional competence.
Practical Experience. 7.1 The Parties acknowledge that the practical experience requirements of each Party shall be in accordance with the spirit of the International Education Standard on Practical Experience as published by the International Federation of Accountants ("IFAC"). 7.2 Notwithstanding clause 7.1, each Party shall retain its right to refuse admission of members of the other Party who do not meet the practical experience requirements established under any laws applicable to that Party.
Practical Experience. The College will endeavor to establish a program which will allow Faculty members to obtain practical experience through assignments with entities whose activities are related to the Faculty members’ respective subject areas. Where such assignments are made, the College agrees to allow Faculty members to be released and arrange for substitutes, where necessary. Faculty members may not be compensated by both the College and entity.
Practical Experience. Practical experience includes applicants understanding and applying the practical limitations of real systems in practice. Practical experience should include at least two of: • site visits to existing engineering works, with opportunities to see equipment and systems in both operational and maintenance circumstances; • application of equipment as part of the larger system, including, for example, the merits of reliability, the role of computer software, and understanding the end product or engineering work in relationship to the equipment; • demonstrated understanding, through project work of the limitations of practical engineering and related human systems in achieving desired goals, including limitations of production methods, manufacturing tolerances, performance minima, maintenance philosophies, etc.; and, • demonstrated experience in the components of the engineering process, including project definition and planning, workflow, scheduling, equipment wear-out and replacement scheduling, etc.
Practical Experience. The contract pharmacy technicians will work in both the outpatient and inpatient pharmacy settings. Each contract pharmacy technician must have at least 2 years of experience in hospital (inpatient) pharmacy.
Practical Experience. Facility shall provide students with a practical experience at Facility. Facility shall ensure that the activities students engage in at Facility have educational value and meet the learning objectives provided by ISU.   • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period. 31.02 It shall be the responsibility of the employee to supply proof of their previous experience prior to the completion of their probationary period. Otherwise, all claim for credit for previous experience shall be forfeited by the employee. 31.03 In the event of any disagreement as to credit granted for previous experience, such disagreement shall be considered a grievance, and the Grievance Procedure provided in the Agreement shall apply.
