PRE-COMMISSIONING TESTS Clause Samples
The Pre-Commissioning Tests clause defines the requirement for conducting specific tests on equipment or systems before they are officially put into operation. Typically, this involves verifying that all components have been installed correctly, function as intended, and meet the necessary safety and performance standards. For example, electrical systems might be checked for proper wiring and insulation, while mechanical systems could be tested for leaks or correct alignment. The core purpose of this clause is to ensure that any issues are identified and resolved prior to full commissioning, thereby reducing the risk of operational failures and ensuring compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
