Premiums and Overtime. (a) No employee shall w ork overtime unless authorized by the employee’ s manager or a person delegated by the manager. Overtime shall be defined as t ime w orked before or after a normal w ork day or normal w ork w eek as w ell as t ime w orked in excess of the normal hours of w ork.
(b) No employee shall be required to w ork in excess of sixt een (16) hours in any ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇-four (24) hour period, or to exceed thirty-tw o (32) overtime hours in any bi-w eekly pay period. It is recognized, how ever, that the limitation of thirty-tw o (32) overtime hours may be exceeded in those sit uations w here it is deemed that an emergency exist s w hich requires the employee to exceed the overtime limit.
6.1.2 All employees w ho are required to w ork overtime shall be paid as follow s:
(a) All overtime hours, w ith the exception of those w orked on st atutory or declared holidays, shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) t ▇▇▇▇ the employee' s hourly rate. For salaried employees, the hourly rates shall be determined by dividing the employee’ s bi-w eekly salary by the number of regular bi-w eekly hours. For w age employees, the hourly rate shall be the rate applicable for the w ork performed in accordance w ith the w age schedules set out in the Collective Agreement.
(b) All overtime hours w orked on st atutory or declared holidays, shall be paid at the rate of tw o (2) t ▇▇▇▇ the employee’ s hourly rate. The appropriate hourly rate shall be calculated in the same manner as set out in (a) above.

6.1.2 All employees who are required to work overtime shall be paid as follows:
(a) All overtime hours, with the exception of those worked on statutory or declared holidays, shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times the employee's hourly rate. (b) All overtime hours worked on statutory or declared holidays, shall be paid at the rate of two (2) times the employee’s hourly rate. The appropriate hourly rate shall be calculated in the same manner as set out in (a) above.

Overtime shall be defined as time worked in excess of the normal hours of work for a full-time employee performing the same work as set out in Article 5.
(b) Where management requires a part-time employee to regularly work outside the standard hours of work, set out in Article 5 for full-time employees, and these hours have not been altered in accordance with Article 5, overtime premiums will apply to hours worked by part-time employees before or after a normal work day.
(c) No employee shall be required to work in excess of sixteen (16) hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period, or to exceed thirty-two (32) overtime hours in any bi-weekly pay period. It is recognized, however, that the limitation of thirty-two (32) overtime hours may be exceeded in those situations where it is deemed that an emergency exists which requires the employee to exceed the overtime limit.
(d) Where an employee’s part-time shift has been changed and the notice or change of shift is less than one week, the Employer shall pay two (2) hours at straight time rates of the employee’s regular hourly rate in lieu of notice.
(e) In the event of a part-time employee reporting for work in the ordinary course of his employment and not being able to perform his regular work because of inclement weather, he shall be provided with work for half of his/her scheduled shift or pay in lieu thereof.
Premiums and Overtime. The Parties agree on a process for providing notice, whenever practicable, in forced overtime situations. (U17) An employees who works a midnight shift, from 22h45-07h15, will receive a one dollar ($1.00) hourly premium for every full hour worked. Employees in the Coach/Lead Scheduler classification, in accordance with Article 4.01.01, will receive a fifteen percent (15%) wage premium. When an employee works on Christmas and/or New Year’s Day, the overtime hours shall be paid at 0.5X above the applicable overtime rate for that day of work. When overtime recall (Article 7.04.02) on a scheduled day off occurs on the second and subsequent days off, it will be computed at double time (2X). This will only apply to originally scheduled day(s) off.

16.2 Employees shall receive time and one-half for all hours over forty (40) worked in a week.
