Presenting a Grievance. 52 Any employee having a grievance in connection with his/her employment shall present it to the Employer as follows: A. Oral Step 53 If an employee feels he/she has a grievance and wishes to enter it into the grievance procedure, he/she may discuss it with his/her Immediate Supervisor, or with his/her District ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, who must then discuss it with the employee’s immediate Supervisor before the grievance is referred to the District Supervisor. The Chief ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ may be present at any step or steps of the Grievance Procedure as well as an additional representative of the Employer, and if the Employer requests that the aggrieved employee be present at any step or steps of the Grievance Procedure to participate in the discussion, he/she will be required to do so.
