Previous Service Sample Clauses
The "Previous Service" clause defines how an employee's prior periods of employment, either with the same employer or with related entities, are recognized for certain employment benefits or entitlements. In practice, this clause may specify that time worked in earlier roles or under previous contracts counts toward calculations for benefits such as annual leave, long service leave, or redundancy pay. By clarifying how previous service is treated, the clause ensures fairness and consistency in benefit calculations, preventing disputes and aligning expectations for both employer and employee.
