Procedure Level One. A grievant who believes that he/she has a grievance shall discuss the matter informally with the teacher’s principal or immediate supervisor within fifteen (15) days after the date of occurrence or the date when the teacher should have knowledge of the event upon which the grievance is based, but in no instance later than thirty (30) calendar day after the occurrence complained of. If the teacher is not satisfied with the disposition from the oral discussion with his/her principal or immediate supervisor, the teacher may file a grievance in writing.
