PRODUCTION AND NON-PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENTS Sample Clauses

The 'Production and Non-Production Environments' clause defines the distinction and rules governing the use of software or systems in both live (production) and test or development (non-production) settings. Typically, this clause outlines what constitutes each environment, specifies any restrictions or permissions for accessing or using the software in these contexts, and may address issues such as data handling, support levels, or licensing differences between environments. Its core function is to ensure clarity and proper management of software deployment, reducing the risk of misuse or confusion between testing and live operations.
