Changes to Software Clause Samples
The "Changes to Software" clause defines the rules and procedures for modifying, updating, or enhancing the software covered by the agreement. It typically outlines who has the authority to make changes, how such changes are communicated to the other party, and whether additional approvals or documentation are required. For example, it may specify that updates must be provided to the licensee at no extra cost, or that significant modifications require mutual consent. This clause ensures both parties have a clear understanding of how software changes are managed, reducing the risk of disputes and maintaining alignment on software functionality throughout the contract term.
