Common use of PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT Clause in Contracts

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT. 6.1.1 Permanent full-time and part-time Employees will be eligible to apply for Professional Development Support. All employees are eligible to access this avenue to further their professional development. 6.1.2 Professional Development Support may be in the form of payment for costs and expenses associated with undertaking professional development. 6.1.3 The Employee is able to submit such an application to the Mater Staff Education Fund. Applications will be assessed based on the following criteria: (a) available budget; and (b) demonstrable benefits to Mater; and (c) benefits to the Employee and relevance to their current role.
