Professional Libraries Clause Samples

The 'Professional Libraries' clause defines the ownership and use of materials, resources, or tools that a professional brings to a project or engagement. Typically, this clause clarifies that any pre-existing documents, templates, software, or intellectual property owned by the professional prior to the engagement remain their property, even if used during the course of the work. This ensures that the professional retains rights to their proprietary resources and prevents the client from claiming ownership over materials not specifically created for the project, thereby protecting the professional's ongoing business interests and intellectual property.
