PROJECT ADDENDA REQUIREMENTS Clause Samples

The Project Addenda Requirements clause outlines the procedures and standards for issuing, reviewing, and incorporating addenda—formal written changes or clarifications—to project documents during the bidding or construction process. Typically, this clause specifies who is authorized to issue addenda, the timeframe for their distribution, and how recipients must acknowledge and incorporate them into their bids or work. By establishing a clear process for managing changes or additional information, this clause ensures all parties are working from the most current project requirements, reducing misunderstandings and disputes.
PROJECT ADDENDA REQUIREMENTS. The Architect/Engineer and/or Agency shall be required to abide by the following schedule in issuing construction project addenda. The Purchasing Division buyer shall send the addendum to all interested vendors and, if necessary, extend the bid opening date. Any addendum should be received by the Purchasing Division at least fourteen (14) days prior to the bid opening date.
