Common use of Project Phasing Clause in Contracts

Project Phasing. If phased construction is deemed appropriate and City approves, CM@Risk shall review the design and make recommendations regarding the phased issuance of construction documents to facilitate phased construction of the Work with the objective of reducing the Project schedule and/or Cost of the Work. CM@Risk will take into consideration factors such as natural and practical lines of Work severability, sequencing effectiveness, access and availability constraints, total time for completion, construction market conditions, labor and materials availability and other factors pertinent to saving time and decreasing costs.
