Project Responsibilities. 1.3.2.1. The CITY shall complete all preliminary engineering processes necessary to prepare the Project for letting and bidding. The CITY shall prepare all contract documents required to let a contract, including all necessary plans, drawings and specifications. All such documents will be prepared in accordance with and referencing the INDOT Standard Specifications and the Indiana Design Manual as appropriate for the Intersection improvement. 1.3.2.2. The CITY shall follow the design submittal process in the INDOT Design Manual. The CITY shall provide all needed plans, tracings and other preliminary engineering needed for the Intersection. INDOT shall be provided the opportunity to review and approve all design plans within twenty (20) business days of submittal of the plans for the Intersection to INDOT, and the CITY shall promptly ensure that any changes required by INDOT are incorporated into the final plans for the Intersection. The CITY understands that INDOT shall be the sole and final decision maker on any matters related to and/or that may impact the quality and function of the SR 32 Intersection. All plans and other design work for the Intersection shall be completed in accordance with all requirements of the most recent edition of INDOT’s Standard Specifications. 1.3.2.3. The CITY will manage, administer, and inspect the Project in accordance with applicable laws and INDOT policies, procedures and specifications. 1.3.2.4. INDOT shall review and approve all change orders related to the Intersection submitted by the field Project Engineer/Supervisor, and such approvals shall not be unreasonably withheld.

The CITY understands and agrees that INDOT shall be the sole and final decision maker on any matters anything that is related to and/or that may impact the quality and function of the SR 32 Intersection32. All plans and other design work for on the Intersection Project shall be completed in accordance with all requirements of the most recent edition of INDOT’s Standard Specificationsstandard specifications.
1.3.2.3C. The CITY shall coordinate with INDOT in the selection of the consultant for the Project.
D. The CITY shall amend its existing Permit # E17GDW0002 to include construction of the new signal installation in accordance with INDOT’s permitting policy. The approval of the design plans and acceptance of the traffic signal at construction completion will follow INDOT’s standard permitting policies and procedures.
E. The CITY will manage, administer, shall let and inspect award the Project for construction in accordance with applicable laws and INDOT policies, procedures and specificationsstate laws.
1.3.2.4. F. The CITY shall submit an invoice to INDOT shall review and approve all change orders related to for INDOT”s Contribution upon the Intersection submitted by CITY’s receipt of the field Project Engineer/Supervisor, and such approvals shall not be unreasonably withheldfully executed Agreement.
