QUALIFICATIONS OF THE BIDDER. 15.1 The County may investigate as deemed necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the required work, and the bidder shall furnish to the County all such information and data for this purpose. 15.2 The County reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such bidder fails to satisfy that the bidder is qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work specified herein. 15.3 The County may require a verbal interview with one, some or all of the interested bidders. 15.4 No bidder will be considered who is not at the present time actively engaged in the performance of Contract Cleaning Services and who cannot clearly demonstrate to the satisfaction of the County his/her ability to satisfactorily perform the work in accordance with the requirements of this specification. 15.5 Bidder shall provide at least three references from other customers or firms who have similar needs to the County. 15.5.1 Any City/County Department/Agency currently using the Bidder’s services must be included. 15.5.2 Information regarding the satisfaction of existing and past customers will be a consideration in the award of this project.

Current collection sites require roll-off, front-load and rear-load trucks to support the service schedule and volume of material collected at the recyclables collection sites. However, continued consolidation of collection sites is underway and it is anticipated that only roll-off service will be required under this agreement.
