Ramp Service. Uniforms: United Express employees are required to wear the United designated uniform for Ramp Service personnel. There is to be no deviation from this uniform and it is to be worn at all times while on duty. Employees in uniform, on or off duty are not allowed to drink intoxicating beverages, give the appearance of being intoxicated or visit any establishment whose primary purpose is to dispense liquor (e.g. bars, saloons, cocktail lounges, liquor stores). "
Ramp Service. Ramp service at the main terminal or other Airport locations, including into-plane delivery of aircraft fuel, lubricants and other related aviation products; and providing of ramp equipment, aircraft cleaning and other services for persons or firms.
Ramp Service. Classification seniority system-wide shall be recognized at all 18 points where persons hereunder are employed, in all reductions of 19 force and recall after layoff, in bidding for vacancies or new jobs, for 20 preference of shift assignment when a vacancy occurs and in all 21 promotion, layoff, or transfers involving classification covered by this 24 C. 1. New employees shall be regarded as probationary 25 employees for the first 1,040 hours worked during their employment.
Ramp Service. Guiding aircraft in and out of Airport; aircraft loading and unloading positions, designated by the Aviation Department; placing in position and operating passenger, baggage and cargo loading and unloading devices, as required for the safe and efficient loading and unloading of passengers, baggage and cargo to and from aircraft; performing such loading and unloading; providing aircraft utility services, such as air start and cabin air; fueling; catering; towing aircraft; cleaning of aircraft; delivering cargo, baggage and mail to and from aircraft to and from locations at any Miami-Dade County Aviation Department facility; and providing such other ramp services approved in writing by the Aviation Department;
Ramp Service members hired as per the Company and Union agreed upon list - will receive a salary increase of $0.50 per hour to their current rate of pay effective June 1st, 2006. Employees will then be placed on the new negotiated scale at the next highest increment to that salary. Employees continue to advance from this point as per the described in the wage scale Article 5.01 on their semi annual increment without waiting for the prescribed time period.
