RATE OF OVERTIME COMPENSATION. All employees shall receive overtime compensation at a premium rate of one and one-half times the regular straight time hourly rate. Compensation will be made pursuant to paragraph C. above. For the purpose of overtime, compensation shall include the certification rate. If overtime compensation is compensatory time off, compensatory time off will be accumulated at the rate of one and one-half hours for each hour worked.
RATE OF OVERTIME COMPENSATION. Operative upon the effective date of this MOU, employees in this unit whose hourly base rate (without bonuses or premiums) is at or below the base hourly rate for the class of Building Maintenance District Supervisor (Code 3190) in Council-controlled departments shall be paid at the rate oftime and one half” (1½) the employee’s regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of forty (40) hours in any FLSA work week including all absences with pay authorized by law. Management shall have the discretion to determine whether compensation shall be in cash or time-off.
RATE OF OVERTIME COMPENSATION. All employees covered by the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act shall receive overtime compensation at a premium rate of 1-1/2 the regular straight-time hourly rate. Compensation will be made pursuant to subsection C. above.
RATE OF OVERTIME COMPENSATION. Overtime shall be compensated for at the rate of one-and- one-half (1.5) times the Employee's regular rate of pay. Regular rate of pay is calculated based on Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) regulations. Overtime compensation may be converted to PTO at the option of the Employee at a rate of one (1) hour of overtime for one-and-one-half (1.5) hours of PTO, except that an Employee may not convert overtime to PTO once the employee has accrued two hundred and forty (240) hours of converted PTO hours (which is the equivalent of one hundred and sixty (160) overtime hours worked).
RATE OF OVERTIME COMPENSATION. All employees covered by the overtime provisions of the FLSA shall receive overtime compensation at a premium rate of time and one-half (1.5) the regular straight-time hourly rate. Compensation will be made pursuant to subsection 7.C. (Overtime Compensation) above.

  • Overtime Compensation 1. Except as provided in this section, Grantee will be responsible for any obligations of premium overtime pay due employees. Premium overtime pay is defined as any compensation paid to an individual in addition to the employee’s normal rate of pay for hours worked in excess of normal working hours. 2. Funds provided under this Contract may be used to pay the premium portion of overtime only under the following conditions: i. With the prior written approval of System Agency; ii. Temporarily, in the case of an emergency or an occasional operational bottleneck; iii. When employees are performing indirect functions, such as administration, maintenance, or accounting; iv. In performance of tests, laboratory procedures, or similar operations that are continuous in nature and cannot reasonably be interrupted or otherwise completed; or v. When lower overall cost to System Agency will result.

  • Rate of Compensation In lieu of direct compensation for all overtime, shift work and standby (as defined in Articles 16, 17 and 18 of this Agreement), regular full-time employees shall receive a special compensation of 7% of their basic salary earned for each calendar year. This special compensation shall not be considered part of the employee's basic salary for the purpose of calculating any benefits or other premium entitlements.

  • Compensation for Overtime Assigned overtime is designated as those hours over the regular hours of work which are requested of the employee by management. Assigned overtime worked shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2).

Executive, administrative and professional employees designated in the Annual Salary Ordinance with the "Z" symbol shall not receive extra compensation for holiday work but may be granted time off equivalent to the time worked at the rate of one-and-one- half times for work on the holiday.
