Recalling Employees. 14.01 No new employees shall be hired after a layoff until all laid off employees have been rehired who are willing and able to perform the work required, except the Company shall be under no obligation to recall probationary employees. 14.02 In recalling employees from layoff, the employee with the most seniority shall receive preference provided he/she is willing to do the job concerned and is able to perform the job within a reasonable period of training. However, the Company shall not be required to provide training in excess of the period of time that would be reasonable to assume would be needed by a new hire to familiarize themselves with the job.
