Receipt of Instructions Clause Samples
The 'Receipt of Instructions' clause defines when and how instructions provided by one party are considered officially received by the other party. Typically, this clause outlines acceptable methods of communication—such as email, fax, or postal mail—and may specify the exact time or conditions under which instructions are deemed received, for example, upon delivery to a designated address or after a certain period. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and certainty regarding the timing and acknowledgment of instructions, thereby reducing disputes about whether and when instructions were properly communicated and received.
