Recent and Related Experience. Upon completion of probation, Registered Practical Nurses may be given credit for proven recent and related nursing experience at the discretion of the Employer. Nurses will only receive payment for experience on the payroll following submission of their proof of experience, and if the Employer in its sole discretion decides to recognize that prior experience. For each year of full time experience 1 level on the grid to the maximum; part time experience is 2 years = 1 level on the grid to the maximum.

Recent and Related Experience. For every one (1) year (1950 hours) of recent and related experience, prior to employment with Caressant Care ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Place Nursing Home, a Registered Practical Nurse shall advance one (1) step on the wage grid (Schedule “A”). It is necessary, in all cases for the employee to provide proof of recent and related experience, in writing, on letterhead. The change in rate of pay will go into effect the first full pay after proof is provided.
Recent and Related Experience. A newly hired employee shall have a right at the time of hiring to credit for wage rates at the start rate on the wage schedule for recent and related nursing experience on the basis of one year full-time credit for each 1 year of full-time experience outside the Rekai Centres and 1500 hours of part-time employment equals one (1) year of experience outside the Rekai Centres up to the maximum of the grid. If the nurse does not provide reasonable proof of recent and related experience at the time of hire but does so at a later date, no retroactive adjustments will be made.
Recent and Related Experience. Where an RPN is hired and has recent related RPN experience in a long term care setting, she may apply for recognition of that experience on the wage grid, up to the maximum of the grid. Such experience, when approved, will be granted on the basis of one (1) year’s movement on the grid for each one (1) years’ experience. Where the experience is part time, one (1) year equals eighteen hundred (1,800) hours worked.
