Recognition of Federation Clause Samples
The Recognition of Federation clause formally acknowledges the existence and authority of a federation within the context of the agreement. This clause typically specifies that the parties recognize the federation as a legitimate representative body, often for employees or member organizations, and may outline the scope of its recognized activities, such as collective bargaining or representation in negotiations. Recognition of Federation. The BOARD recognizes the FEDERATION as the sole and exclusive collective bargaining representative for all certified personnel employed by the BOARD excluding all substitute teachers, all members of other recognized bargaining units, all administrative interns, and all administrative and supervisory positions now in existence and hereafter established by the BOARD. The BOARD agrees that it will not enter into any Collective Bargaining Agreement with any teacher or any other organization on behalf of teachers. The BOARD further agrees to negotiate with the FEDERATION before instituting a program of performance contracting.
