Recognition of Stewards. (a) The Employer recognizes the Union's right to appoint stewards and the Union shall notify the Employer of such appointments, in writing. A ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall obtain the permission of their supervisor prior to leaving their work area to attend to union duties relating to the Employer's operations. Leave for this purpose shall be with current pay and permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. On resuming their duties the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall notify their supervisor.
