Redline Clause Samples
A REDLINE clause defines the process for tracking and displaying changes made to a document during negotiations or revisions. Typically, this clause requires that all edits, deletions, and additions be clearly marked using redlining or similar tools, ensuring that all parties can easily identify modifications. By mandating transparent documentation of changes, the REDLINE clause helps prevent misunderstandings and disputes over what has been altered, thereby promoting clarity and accountability in the drafting process.
