Common use of Reduction in Pay Clause in Contracts

Reduction in Pay. An employee may be reduced in maximum salary rate of pay. When reducing the maximum salary of an employee, the supervisor shall follow all of the steps listed under Notice of Intent (Section C.1) and Pre-disciplinary Hearing (Section C.2) of this Agreement.
