Common use of Reduction of Hours Clause in Contracts

Reduction of Hours. (a) Reduction in hours will be based on seniority, as per Article 4.10, providing that affected employees have the ability and training to perform the work that is available, and that licensing standards can be maintained. (b) Any regular employee offered a reduction of hours will be given two weeks' notice of the reduction.
