Common use of Redundancy / Severance Clause in Contracts

Redundancy / Severance. ‌ Employees shall be entitled to a severance payment of $55.00 per completed week of service. The severance payment shall accrue weekly and be paid out to the employee at the completion of the employee’s term on the project. An employee, who terminates their employment before the completion of four (4) weeks continuous service, shall not be entitled to the provisions of this clause.
