The Reference Drawings clause defines which drawings are officially recognized as part of the contract documents and serve as a basis for the project's design and construction. Reference Drawings. Original shop, Working and other reference drawings pertaining to existing construction, if they exist, are on file in the office of the Division of Bridges, ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇.▇. 10041, and are available for the Contractor's inspection. The Contractor may obtain reproductions of these drawings provided that the Contractor pays all expenses incurred to produce such reproductions. At no time, however, will the original drawings be permitted to leave the possession or control of the Division of Bridges. The City will make all reasonable arrangements to produce the reproductions for the Contractor in accordance with any request. It is distinctly understood that these drawings, if they exist, are made available to the Contractor only for informational purposes, without any warranty, expressed or implied, as to their present accuracy or sufficiency. The information contained therein may not be complete nor disclose the true conditions that may be encountered during the course of the Work under this Contract. The Contractor must take its own measurements at the site of the Work and perform any required field checks of all information obtained from these drawings instead of relying on their content.

b) All corrections, deviations and changes made on the site shall be shown on these reference drawings for final incorporation in the completion drawings. All changes to be made shall be initialled by the Independent Engineer. These will then form the “As-Built Drawings”
