Reimbursement of Tuition Fees and Books. Reimbursement‌ Effective July 1, 2015, for tuition expenses incurred towards achieving a Master’s Degree during the first three (3) years of coursework, the Board of Education shall reimburse members of the Association at the rate of 75% of tuition costs during each of the first three (3) years. Thereafter, if the member of the Association has not achieved the Master’s degree within three (3) years of starting the Master’s Degree program, the Board of Education shall reimburse members of the Association at the rate of 25% of the tuition courses for each year thereafter (year four (4) and on). Effective July 1, 2015, for tuition expenses incurred towards achieving a Doctorate Degree during the first five (5) years of coursework, the Board of Education shall reimburse members of the Association at the rate of 75% of tuition costs during each of the first five (5) years. Thereafter, if the member of the Association has not achieved the Doctorate degree within five (5) years of starting the Doctorate Degree program, The Board of Education shall reimburse members of the Association at the rate of 25% of the tuition courses for each year thereafter (year six (6)) and on). Effective July 1, 2015 any Association member who receives tuition reimbursement from the Board of Education shall be responsible to work a minimum of two (2) years after such reimbursement relating to the Master’s degree and additional year for each year after three‌‌

  • Tuition Fees The Employer agrees to pay tuition fees for continuing education courses as follows: a) Employer initiated – 100% of course fees upon successful completion of course. b) Employee initiated – 50% of course fees upon successful completion. Courses must be employment-related and approved, in writing, by the Employer in advance.

  • Tuition Reimbursement A. The Employer will reimburse a full-time employee for the cost of tuition in accordance with Regulation 10.12.060 and for the cost of books as long as the subject matter of the specific course or course of study is job-related and the tuition costs do not exceed those found at a state university. The employee must receive approval from the Chief prior to taking the course. Tuition reimbursement shall be approved for all job-related undergraduate and graduate work. A request for tuition shall not be unreasonably denied. B. If an employee receives a scholarship, the total amount of the reimbursement from the Employer, combined with the scholarship, shall not exceed one hundred percent (100%) of the cost of tuition and books. C. A satisfactory grade of C or higher or equivalent is required for reimbursement, and a copy of the course transcript showing satisfactory completion, along with a copy of the approved reimbursement application, a copy of the registration or receipt showing the amount paid, and a taxability of tuition reimbursement Interoffice Communication shall be submitted with the reimbursement request within sixty (60) calendar days of receiving final grades. D. In the event the Employer directs an employee to attend any formal training course, the costs of all books and incidental fees will be paid by the Employer. “Life experience” credits will be reimbursed on a per-credit basis, not to exceed the University of Washington tuition rates. E. Once a request for tuition reimbursement has been approved, the Employer will reimburse the cost of tuition as provided above. Approved tuition reimbursements shall be paid to the employee within sixty (60) calendar days of timely submission to the Employer. An employee shall not receive federal or state educational reimbursement funds that exceed the total tuition for any course. F. If an employee receiving tuition reimbursement misses two (2) consecutive terms of school, the Employer shall send a letter requesting the employee notify the Employer of whether the employee intends to continue to attend school. If the employee does not attend school during the following two (2) terms then the employee must reapply for tuition reimbursement when attendance resumes. G. When an employee completes an educational program, the employee shall notify the Employer so the Employer can remove the employee’s name from the tuition reimbursement list. If the employee pursues an additional degree then the employee must reapply for tuition reimbursement. H. No more than twenty-five percent (25%) of the bargaining unit members shall receive tuition reimbursement at any given time. If at any time the maximum twenty-five percent (25%) limit is reached, then all subsequent requests for tuition reimbursement shall be placed on a waiting list in order of the date of application.

  • REIMBURSEMENT OF FEES AND COSTS The Parties acknowledge that ▇▇▇▇ and her counsel offered to reach preliminary agreement on the material terms of this dispute before reaching terms on the amount of fees and costs to be reimbursed to them. The Parties thereafter reached an accord on the compensation due to ▇▇▇▇ and her counsel under general contract principles and the private attorney general doctrine and principles codified at California Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5, for all work performed through the mutual execution of this agreement. Under these legal principles, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ shall reimburse ▇▇▇▇’▇ counsel for fees and costs incurred as a result of investigating and bringing this matter to Cowshed’s attention, and negotiating a settlement in the public interest. Within thirty (30) days of the Effective Date, Cowshed shall issue a check payable to “▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ & ▇▇▇▇▇” in the amount of $14,500.00 for delivery to the address identified in § 3.2(a)(i), above.

  • Reimbursement of Fees and Expenses The Advisor retains its right to receive reimbursement of any excess expense payments paid by it pursuant to this Agreement under the same terms and conditions as it is permitted to receive reimbursement of reductions of its investment management fee under the Investment Advisory Agreement.

  • Disbursements, Reimbursement (a) In the event of any request for a drawing under a Letter of Credit by the beneficiary or transferee thereof, the LC Bank will promptly notify the Administrative Agent and the Borrower of such request. The Borrower shall reimburse (such obligation to reimburse the LC Bank shall sometimes be referred to as a “Reimbursement Obligation”) the LC Bank prior to noon (New York City time), on each date that an amount is paid by the LC Bank under any Letter of Credit (each such date, a “Drawing Date”) in an amount equal to the amount so paid by the LC Bank. In the event the Borrower fails to reimburse the LC Bank for the full amount of any drawing under any Letter of Credit by noon (New York City time) on the Drawing Date (including because the conditions precedent to a Loan requested by the Borrower pursuant to Section 2.01 shall not have been satisfied), the LC Bank will promptly notify each LC Participant thereof. Any notice given by the LC Bank pursuant to this Section may be oral if promptly confirmed in writing; provided that the lack of such a prompt written confirmation shall not affect the conclusiveness or binding effect of such oral notice. (b) Each LC Participant shall upon any notice pursuant to clause (a) above make available to the LC Bank an amount in immediately available funds equal to its Pro Rata Share of the amount of the drawing (a “Participation Advance”), whereupon the LC Participants shall each be deemed to have made a Loan to the Borrower in that amount. If any LC Participant so notified fails to make available to the LC Bank the amount of such LC Participant’s Pro Rata Share of such amount by 2:00 p.m. (New York City time) on the Drawing Date, then interest shall accrue on such LC Participant’s obligation to make such payment, from the Drawing Date to the date on which such LC Participant makes such payment (i) at a rate per annum equal to the Federal Funds Rate during the first three days following the Drawing Date and (ii) at a rate per annum equal to the Base Rate on and after the fourth day following the Drawing Date. The LC Bank will promptly give notice to each LC Participant of the occurrence of the Drawing Date, but failure of the LC Bank to give any such notice on the Drawing Date or in sufficient time to enable any LC Participant to effect such payment on such date shall not relieve such LC Participant from its obligation under this clause (b). Each LC Participant’s Commitment shall continue until the last to occur of any of the following events: (A) the LC Bank ceases to be obligated to issue or cause to be issued Letters of Credit hereunder, (B) no Letter of Credit issued hereunder remains outstanding and uncancelled or (C) all Credit Parties have been fully reimbursed for all payments made under or relating to Letters of Credit.
