Released Parties Clause Samples
The 'Released Parties' clause defines the individuals or entities who are protected from liability or claims under an agreement. Typically, this clause lists specific parties—such as the company, its affiliates, employees, or agents—who are released from certain legal responsibilities or future claims by the other party. For example, in a waiver or settlement, the clause ensures that the releasing party cannot later sue or hold the released parties liable for specified matters. Its core function is to clearly identify who benefits from the release, thereby reducing the risk of future disputes or litigation involving those parties.
