Remote Learning Days. No later than May 1 of each school year, either Party may request to meet to discuss the Districtʼs Remote Learning Plan and/or E-Learning Plan.
Remote Learning Days. The School Calendar contains five (5) emergency days to be used in the event instructional days are canceled due to an emergency (including but not limited to inclement weather). Effective the 2019-2020 school year, the District and the Association agree that the District may replace any regular student attendance day canceled due to an emergency with Remote Learning Days. The concept of Remote Learning days is that students shall complete learning activities from home due to the emergency closing of school. Should any changes to the Remote Learning Days schedule be required, such changes must be mutually agreed upon by the Board and the Association.

Remote Learning Days. In the event of a declared remote learning day, the managing supervisor will provide direction on unit member’s responsibilities for the day, except that employees who are able to perform their job duties remotely shall do so on remote learning days. In departments where remote work is not an option, the supervisors shall decide which employees must report to work based upon the departmental needs on that day. Employees shall be given notice of their reporting requirements by 6:00 a.m. on the remote learning day.

  • Reasonable Time for Winding Up A reasonable time shall be allowed for the orderly winding-up of the business and affairs of the Partnership and the liquidation of its assets pursuant to Section 13.2, in order to minimize any losses otherwise attendant upon such winding-up, and the provisions of this Agreement shall remain in effect between the Partners during the period of liquidation.

  • Company to Provide Copy of the Prospectus in Form That May be Downloaded from the Internet If requested by the Representatives, the Company shall cause to be prepared and delivered, at its expense, within one business day from the effective date of this Agreement, to the Representatives an “electronic Prospectus” to be used by the Underwriters in connection with the offering and sale of the Offered Shares. As used herein, the term “electronic Prospectus” means a form of Time of Sale Prospectus, and any amendment or supplement thereto, that meets each of the following conditions: (i) it shall be encoded in an electronic format, satisfactory to the Representatives, that may be transmitted electronically by the Representatives and the other Underwriters to offerees and purchasers of the Offered Shares; (ii) it shall disclose the same information as the paper Time of Sale Prospectus, except to the extent that graphic and image material cannot be disseminated electronically, in which case such graphic and image material shall be replaced in the electronic Prospectus with a fair and accurate narrative description or tabular representation of such material, as appropriate; and (iii) it shall be in or convertible into a paper format or an electronic format, satisfactory to the Representatives, that will allow investors to store and have continuously ready access to the Time of Sale Prospectus at any future time, without charge to investors (other than any fee charged for subscription to the Internet as a whole and for on-line time). The Company hereby confirms that it has included or will include in the Prospectus filed pursuant to ▇▇▇▇▇ or otherwise with the Commission and in the Registration Statement at the time it was declared effective an undertaking that, upon receipt of a request by an investor or his or her representative, the Company shall transmit or cause to be transmitted promptly, without charge, a paper copy of the Time of Sale Prospectus.

  • CALAMITY DAYS A. All bargaining unit members shall be paid their appropriate rate of pay for all days or parts of a day when the school in which they are employed is closed due to an epidemic or other public calamity. 1. All bargaining unit members who are requested by the Director, Superintendent, or his designee, to report to work on a calamity day shall be paid their regular hourly rate of pay in addition to calamity day compensation or shall have the option to take compensatory time for all hours actually worked. All compensatory time must be utilized during the contract year in which it was earned. B. The Superintendent or his designee shall determine which bargaining unit members normally will be required to report to work on calamity days. Notice will be sent to those bargaining unit members at the beginning of the school year, and they shall report to work on calamity days unless notified not to do so. Other bargaining unit members will not report for work on calamity days unless called and told to do so. C. When a bargaining unit member is called in to work on a calamity day, he/she shall be paid time and one-half his regular rate of pay for those hours worked outside his normal work hours. D. Bargaining unit members who report to work because they did not receive notice of the calamity day through no fault of their own shall be paid or receive compensatory time for work performed until they are sent home. Bargaining unit members shall be given a reasonable amount of paid work time to clean up, put away, and secure equipment after being told to leave. Paid time shall be a minimum of two (2) hours at the member’s regular rate of pay. E. Calamity days shall not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of determining eligibility for overtime payment.

  • Snow Days ‌ If an employee after good faith efforts is unable to report to work for his or her scheduled duty period because of weather conditions, and if a disaster due to weather is declared by the governor or the Grand Traverse County Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, the employee at the employee's option may take a day's leave without pay or work on a pass day to make up the loss day, or may utilize an accumulated sick leave day or vacation day.

  • Tax Periods Ending on or Before the Closing Date Buyer shall prepare or cause to be prepared and file or cause to be filed all Tax Returns for the Company and the Company Subsidiary for all periods ending on or prior to the Closing Date which are required to be filed (taking into account all extensions properly obtained) after the Closing Date.
